Opti-Mizing Microscopy.
Stop using fingernail polish to attach your cover glass to microscope slides. Nail polish can ruin objectives and degrade biological fluors, like fluorescent proteins. Moreover, lacquer based adhesives make it nearly impossible to do subsequent analysis. Opti-Seal is easily removable with warm water, allowing it to be peeled off.
Just a penny more than nail polish or other lacquer type materials per slide.
Opti-Seal™ (20ml)
Opti-Seal is a sealant for coverslips that rapidly cures to an optical clear 1.5 refractive index.
Opti-Seal™ With Beads (15ml)
Opti-Seal with non-bleaching yellow beads for standards and rapid focal plane determination.
Under certain conditions, Opti-Seal™ will seal the cover slip using capillary action. A second coat is recommended for long term sealing. Optional 3-5 micron yellow/green non-bleaching fluorescent beads are included. These enable quick focal plane acquisition as wells as a non-bleaching intensity standard.
$49/15 mls with beads or 20ml w/out beads in convenient no-drip applicator bottle.
